18-year-old Jonathan Martinez is recovering after being a collision between his motorcycle and a car.
The report stated Jonathan Martinez was riding his motorcycle on the 2700 block of North Main Street prior to the crash. Investigators say Martinez’s vehicle collided with the side of a passenger vehicle as the two neared a Target. The crash was severe for Martinez who was not wearing a helmet. Emergency personnel responded to calls about the crash and rushed to the scene. The report didn’t say how long it took for paramedics to arrive.
After an unknown amount of time, paramedics arrived and provided initial treatment before transporting Martinez to the hospital. As a result of the crash, Jonathan Martinez sustained a broken wrist, multiple broken ribs, a broken clavicle and various other injuries. Martinez has been through multiple surgeries, but his family said he will be okay. The family of Jonathan Martinez is relieved their loved one will be okay.
