Albuquerque Police released a post via their official Twitter page about another accident at Coors and Western Trail.
The report didn’t offer much information about the cause of the crash because the incident is still under investigation. Albuquerque Firefighters were also spotted traveling to the crash. The capacity in which the firefighters involved were used was not mentioned in the report. As a result of the crash, both drivers involved sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment at the scene.
While cleanup crews and paramedics worked at the scene, police obtained statements from those involved and compiled a report. It is likely neither driver will face criminal punishment for the crash as the cause was deemed accidental. Coors and Western Trail were blocked while police and emergency personnel worked. However, this only lasted about an hour and everything was cleared quickly. As information is released, we will provide updates on the crash.
