Albuquerque Police responded to a two-car crash that left at least one person injured on San Pedro.
The report stated two vehicles collided at the intersection of Marble and San Pedro after one vehicle lost control and crashed into the other. Police at the scene conducted the investigation but were unable to determine the exact cause of the crash. Investigators don’t believe alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash. Officers believe the driver who caused the crash became distracted prior to the crash.
At this time, the suspect driver will not face criminal punishment for the crash. The driver of the other vehicle was injured as a result of the crash. EMTs were spotted at the scene providing treatment before transporting the driver to the hospital. The nature of the injuries is unknown, but they know the injuries are non-life threatening. The injured person has been since released from the hospital and the intersection of Marble and San Pedro is now open. There is no further information about the crash.
