Los Lunas police have arrested two suspects that stole a truck and crash head on with another truck.
According to the report, two men held a person at gun point and robbed them for their vehicle. Police were alerted of the theft and began to pursue the suspects. The suspects were in a silver chevy pickup which they stole from Albuquerque. They were able to avoid capture for a time and led police from Albuquerque to Los Lunas. A helicopter was needed to keep up with the pace of the driver.
When the suspects reach Los Lunas, they attempted to turn on Main Street. However, the suspect driver was in a rush and smashed head-on into another truck. The crash stunned the innocent driver and those around, but what happened next was worse. The suspects forced the man out of his vehicle and made him lift his shirt and walk backwards. Gladly, they did not shoot
With perfect timing, police arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspects. They have been taken back to Albuquerque to face robbery charges. The victim driver was treated by EMTs and taken to the hospital. The man’s family said he is expected to recover.
