Albuquerque police have apprehended the suspect in a carjacking that led to a crash.
According to the report, Albuquerque police were pursuing a vehicle that was stolen in an armed carjacking. Officers who were chasing the suspect say he ran a red light and collided with a driver in Menaul. The crash was violent and the injuries sustained were life-threatening. The report didn’t say who was injured or release the names of those involved. Paramedics were at the scene and provided treatment to those injured. There is no word on the condition of those injured at this time.
It’s unclear if officers at the scene arrested the suspect at the scene, or if he was taken into custody at the hospital.
