Taos Police released a police blotter containing details about a multi-vehicle crash in Taos.
According to the report, the collision occurred at a gas station called Smith’s Food and Drug. The report didn’t state who caused the crash, but we know at least one child was injured. EMTs were called to the scene and was spotted providing treatment to the child. It’s unclear if the child was taken to the hospital for further treatment. At least three vehicles were involved in the collision, but everyone else was relatively okay.
Officers with the Taos Police Department are conducting an investigation into the crash. At this time, neither of the drivers involved faced punishment for the crash. The most that may arise from this situation is a citation, however, even that is unlikely. Impairment was not mentioned in the report, so it was likely ruled out when officers obtained their reports. The story is still developing and we will provide updates as they are released.
