Farmington Police responded to an injury accident on the 5900 block of E. Main Street.
According to the report, two vehicles collided on the 5900 block of Main St after one driver became distracted. The report didn’t list the cause of the distraction, however, we do know, impairment was ruled out at the scene. Both drivers were coherent and gave their statements to officers when they arrived. Officers obtained the report and with the information given, neither driver will face criminal punishment.
While police were investigating the scene of the crash, both drivers obtained treatment from paramedics. The report didn’t say the condition of the drivers or if they were taken to the hospital for further treatment. The inside lanes of E. Main Street were blocked while emergency personnel worked at the scene. The crash is still under investigation and at this time, no further information has been released. Updates will be provided as they are released by Farmington Police.
