DWI Suspect Arrested Weeks Prior to Deadly Crash
The suspect in a deadly DWI in Albuquerque crash had been arrested just weeks prior for aggravated DWI. This time, police were called out to the intersection of Montgomery and Eubank after a senseless, drunken crash left one person dead.
Police say the victim, heading east on Montgomery had stopped at a red light. Officers say Gabrielle Moya was blind drunk and speeding, didn’t stop and rear-ended the Albuquerque man. Police say the impact killed him on scene.
Albuquerque accident plaintiff’s lawyer Will Ferguson is actively monitoring this fatal crash. “Drunk driving accidents and their victims often face crushing expenses and emotional devastation in the aftermath of a serious New Mexico drunk driving accident. The victim or the affected family obviously can file a New Mexico personal injury lawsuit against the drunk driver that caused the accident, take away their drivers’ license or even their vehicle registration, and recover damages in addition to any compensation offered by the drunk’s insurance company,” states Ferguson. “Not only is the guilty driver responsible, but the bar or homeowner who may have over-served the drunk might also bear financial liability, often in amounts far in excess of the drunk’s policy.” Will Ferguson will continue to monitor the details of this crash as they become available.
