A Santa Rosa woman is regaining her life after a DUI crash that happened on Highway 12.
The woman was involved identified as 33-year-old Elizabeth Ehrmann-Subia who was pregnant at the time of the crash. The report stated Ehrmann-Subia was on her way to pick up her 2-year-old daughter when 40-year-old Tristan Taliesin struck her vehicle head-on. Taliesin was under the influence of methamphetamines at the time of the crash and police believe this was the major cause of the crash. The collision was violent and caused Ehrmann-Subia to lose her 22-week-old baby.
Since the crash, Ehrmann- Subia has had six surgeries on her injuries which still plague her. In addition to losing her baby, she sustained a crushed pelvis, a hernia, and a broken ankle. The report didn’t say if Taliesin was arrested for the crash or if he will be charged with a DWI. We will provide updates as new developments are released by the Santa Rosa Police. We hope Elizabeth Ehrmann-Subia and her family can find a way to move forward with life and receive justice for their tragedy.
