Farmington Police released a report about a head-on collision that took place on State Road 68.
According to the report, two vehicles were traveling opposite directions on State Road prior to the collision. For an unknown reason, one of the drivers veered into oncoming traffic. The crash resulted in multiple people being injured, however, police did not say how many people were involved. Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly and was spotted providing treatment to those injured. After providing initial treatment, an unknown number of those injured was taken to the hospital for further treatment. Luckily, none of the injuries sustained were life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation by the Farmington Police Department and while the investigation is pending, the guilty driver was allowed to leave without facing criminal punishment. Impairment was likely ruled out at the scene because it wasn’t mentioned in the initial report. It is most likely the drivers involved will settle the matter in civil court. The occupants who were injured are now recovering from their injuries. There is no further information on this crash, we will provide updates as they are released by Farmington Police.
