Farmington police responded to a collision that took place at the intersection of River Road and Dustin Road.
When officers responded to the crash they began clearing the road for drivers. The intersection of River and Dustin was blocked temporarily while investigators conducted the investigation. At this time, it’s unclear what factors led up to the crash. Police are asking witnesses to come forward with information to assist with the investigation. However, there were no other parties there when police arrived. One person was taken to the hospital but is in unknown condition.
Neither of the drivers faced punishment for the crash, however, this may change in the following weeks. Also, a civil suit is also on the table. Statements were obtained from all parties involved, but their identities are being kept for privacy reasons. The intersection of River and Dustin was cleared within the hour and drivers are free to travel. However, Farmington police are urging drivers to slow down and look while in intersections.
