Farmington Police issued a report about an accident at the intersection of Andrea Drive and Wildflower Parkway.
Farmington Police responded to the crash around 5:30 p.m., and took the report from those involved. Medical personnel was also needed at the scene to treat injuries, but the report didn’t say how severe the injuries were. At least one person was taken to the hospital for further treatment. At this time, neither of the drivers will face criminal charges or receive a citation for the crash. This may change as evidence is processed. However, it’s likely that no criminal charges will be filed.
Farmington police are still investigating the crash, however, since this is a non-fatality collision, it will take some time for the investigation to conclude. Alcohol was ruled out at the scene, however, speed and inattention are still under investigation. The intersection of Andrea Drive and Wildflower Parkway was partially blocked while police investigated the crash, but was open within the hour. In the last three months, Crash Reconstruction Units throughout the state have been investigating many intersection collisions, drivers are urged to slow down and be careful on the road.
