Deputies with BCSO released a report about an injury crash at Rio Bravo and Del Rio.
Not much information is known at this time, however, we do know injuries were reported in the crash. The report didn’t say who was injured or how severe the injuries were. Both drivers were coherent and talking to police at the scene. At this time, neither driver has faced punishment for the crash. The crash will likely be resolved in civil court. It’s unclear how many people were involved in the crash, but two people were spotted receiving medical attention.
The eastbound lanes of Rio Bravo at Del Rio were closed while police worked on the scene. One person was taken to the hospital as a result of the crash and the others were treated at the scene. Rio Bravo at Del Rio is now open for travel but drivers are urged to remain cautious. We will keep you updated on the crash at the situation develops.
