Albuquerque Police are investigating a crash that took place on 2nd St and Osuna Rd.
Officers with the APD responded to the crash at the intersection of 2nd Street and Osuna Road and blocked off both directions. The report stated two vehicles were involved and both drivers sustained injuries. Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after police and they began treating the injuries. All the injuries were non-life threatening, however, one person was taken to the hospital for further care. The other driver was checked at the scene by paramedics and released.
The crash is still under investigation by the APD, but an official cause has not been determined. From the initial report, it appears neither driver will face criminal punishment for the crash. Because the investigation is still underway, the identities of those involved have not been released. This will change in the following weeks unless those involved chose not to be identified. Both the north and westbound lanes of 2nd Street and Osuna Road are now open for travel. Check back for updates on the story as it develops.
