Jason A. Vigil was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He graduated from New Mexico State University with honors in 2010 after three and a half years with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Jason attended the University of New Mexico School of Law, where he served as the student representative on the Faculty Appointment Committee, the body charged with identifying the school’s needs and interviewing and hiring professors.
Jason graduated from law school in 2014 and was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar that year. He started practicing law on the defense side, working under some of the most experienced defense attorneys in the state. His practice focused on defending clients in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death.
Since graduating from law school, Jason has served as a member of the New Mexico Medical Review Commission. The commission is tasked with hearing mini-trials of alleged medical negligence voting on whether evidence supports a finding of negligence against a healthcare provider.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys being with his family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants and playing a round of golf.
