Albuquerque Police suspect the woman who caused a six-vehicle crash to have been under the influence.
At this time, not much information has been released on the crash. We know the suspect was driving an SUV and she crashed into a sedan which then crashed into two other vehicles. The initial crash also forced the SUV to crash into two other vehicles. Luckily, no one was killed in the crash and only one person was injured. Emergency Personnel rushed to the scene and quickly set to work after arriving in a short time. The crash occurred at the intersection of Eubank Blvd and Academy Road, which was blocked as a result.
When medical personnel arrived, they stabilized the person who was injured and transported them in critical condition. The suspect who caused the crash is believed to have been under the influence at the time of the crash. Investigators say this is what led to the crash. However, the investigation is still underway to check or any other contributing factors. The identity of the suspect is being held by police until the investigation yields more information. The toxicology report from the suspect is being awaited by police.
