Officers with the Farmington PD responded to calls about an injury accident at Butler and East Comanche.
The report didn’t offer much detail about the cause of the crash, however, we know at least two drivers were involved and one person was injured. Also, impairment was ruled out as a contributing factor in the crash. Officers at the scene conducted the investigation and both drivers were coherent enough to speak to officers. A report was taken by the officer, however, what was said was not released to the press.
East Comanche at North Butler Blvd was closed for more than an hour while police investigated. Neither driver faced criminal punishment at the scene and it will likely stay that way. The person who was injured in the crash was taken to the hospital for further treatment and luckily, the injuries were non-life threatening. The intersection of North Butler Ave at East Comanche Street is now open and drivers are urged to remain careful. We will provide updates on the story as they are released.
