The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating an injury crash at Eagle Ranch and Coors.
The report didn’t contain many details, however, at least one person was injured. The APD is still investigating the crash, so at this time, the name of those involved have not been released. Alcohol and speed were both ruled out at the scene. Investigators think inattention or a distraction inside the vehicle caused the crash, however, the evidence available does not prove this. Both lanes of travel at the intersection of Eagle Ranch and Coors were closed while cleanup crews cleared the wreckage.
Luckily, both drivers involved will live and the damage was minimal. No further information was given about the severity of the injuries sustained. We will let you know if their condition changes or if any of the drivers will receive punishment for their role in the crash. We urge all drivers to be careful when navigating the roadways. There have been far too many injury collisions in New Mexico as the year comes to a close. We wish those injured a quick recovery.
