Congestion reported at Eubank and Candelaria after a two-car crash.
According to the report, at least one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Candelaria and Eubank. Investigators and police at the scene declined to say what caused the crash, but we know what was ruled out. After talking to police, neither driver was suspected of being under the influence during the crash. However, officers were not able to rule out speed and distraction.
No witnesses have come forward with information about the crash, but a statement was taken from both drivers. As a result of the crash, at least one person was injured and taken to the hospital for their injuries. The nature of the injuries was not mentioned in the initial report, however, the injuries were non-life threatening. The intersection of Candelaria and Eubank was partially blocked while police and medical personnel worked. The intersection has since been reopened for travel. We will update you as information is released by the APD.
