Personal Injury Lawyer Corinne Holt
Corinne Holt graduated from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2004. She received a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Human Resources from that same institution in 2008. Corinne went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2011.
While attending law school Corinne was elected Student Bar Association President, served as a member of the Supreme Court of New Mexico’s Code of Professional Conduct Committee, and was the University of New Mexico School of Law’s student liaison to the Young Lawyers Division of the New Mexico State Bar. Upon graduation, she was recognized by the law school faculty for her outstanding contributions to the law school community and received honors for her work in the law school’s nationally ranked clinical program. Following law school, Ms. Holt worked for several years at one of the top defense law firms in New Mexico, focusing on the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, construction defects, and employment law.
In 2016, just after receiving the 2016 “Young Lawyer of the Year Award” for her work on the defense side, Corrine was struck deep in her limbic system by a transformative bolt of divine white light. Realizing she now had a young daughter to protect; she acquired a turbocharged Audi and made the official transition to plaintiff’s work by joining Will Ferguson and Associates in 2017. Her practice is now focused on catastrophic injury cases.
Ms. Holt’s husband, Daniel, is a motion picture explosives and special effects expert working primarily within the New Mexico film industry. Daniel and Corinne have a beautiful young daughter who keeps them busy.
