Settlement of $330,000 due to leaky roof in New Mexico business
While visiting a local business, Plaintiff slipped, fell, and suffered a serious knee injury. The business had a leaky roof which chronically caused the floor to be wet. Although the business knew about the leaky roof, it took no appropriate steps to fix the problem before Plaintiff’s fall. Because the business had a duty under the law to maintain its premises in a safe condition and failed to do so, causing Plaintiff’s injuries, Will Ferguson & Associates brought a premises liability action against the business on behalf of our client and secured compensation for our client’s injuries.
