The Roswell Fire Department responded to a three-vehicle crash that took place on North Main Street.
Firefighters were the first to arrive at the 2100 block of N. Main St. When they arrived, they saw three vehicles that collided, bumper to bumper. The back vehicle crushed it’s engine and had clouds of smoke emitting from the hood. The middle vehicle was sandwiched and both ends of his car were smashed. The driver told police the speed of the vehicle behind him is was a factor in the crash. The driver in the middle sustained minor injuries but was overall okay. The front vehicle also sustained damage to the trunk of the car and the driver sustained minor injuries as well.
One woman who was a passenger was taken to the hospital and was spotted wearing a neck brace. Luckily, everyone involved is expected to survive. Police are investigating the crash but did not release an official cause. Officers are aware that the back vehicle’s speed was a factor in the crash, however, police will check every detail. Alcohol was ruled out at the scene but distraction is still an option. This is harder to prove so it may take a while before evidence is processed. As of now, no one was cited or arrested for the crash.
