Albuquerque police are investigating a four-vehicle collision that took place near the Coor Bypass.
The original report stated that four vehicles were traveling near 7 Bar Loop Rd just before the crash. One of the vehicles lost control of their car starting a chain-reaction. The crash was violent caused all the vehicles to be scattered across the road. Drivers passing the scene reported the collision to police. Emergency personnel were on the scene within 25 minutes of the calls.
When they arrived, they provided treatment to the severely injured occupant and worked to clear the wreckages surrounding the scene. After he was stabilized, they transported him along with two other to the hospital for treatment. Investigators have not been able to provide an official cause of the crash and since so many people were involved, the stories conflict. Police will obtain statements and reconstruct the scene. It may take a while before evidence is released.
