The Albuquerque Fire Department responded to an injury accident that took near Comanche and Holiday.
The report stated that two vehicles were involved in the crash. Both drivers sustained injuries but the report didn’t say how severe the injuries were. Paramedics arrived at the scene also and at least one of the drivers was taken to the hospital. The report didn’t say the condition of those injured, however, we know the injuries sustained was non-life threatening. Both lanes of travel at Comanche and Holiday were closed for a short time while the APD investigated the crash.
Officers at the scene were not able to provide and official cause right away. It will likely take a few weeks into the investigation before the information is released. This is because the crash was not fatal. As of now, both drivers were allowed to leave the scene while the APD finishes their investigation. So far, speed and alcohol were ruled out at the scene by police. Investigators believe inattention or distraction may have been factors but evidence has not proved this. We will keep you updated on the story as it develops.
