Farmington Police are investigating a two-vehicle accident on Mabel Drive.
Officers with the Farmington Police Department arrived at the 2500 block of Mabel Drive in response to a crash. Officers arrived around 1 p.m. and began to conduct their investigation. They compiled a report after obtaining statements from both drivers involved. Through this questioning, police were able to rule out impairment as a factor in the crash. It is likely, neither driver will face punishment for the crash and the matter will go to civil court.
The crash is still under investigation, but with the initial evidence at the scene, officers cannot say what caused it. No witnesses stepped forward to give police any information. As a result of the crash, both drivers were injured, however, one more so than the other. The person with the minor injuries was treated and released from the scene by paramedics. The other driver was taken to the hospital for further treatment for his injuries. Also, a passenger was in one of the vehicles but was unharmed. There is no more information about this crash.
